I’m so happy this exsists, haha. For those who don’t understand, I have a 350 Z, it has a VQ35DE under the hood. There’s always a lot of jokes about the DE because of the always going debate between the VQ35DE in 06’ and older models and the VQ35HR in 07+.

So it’s an esoteric engine code reference combined with a 20-year-old gangsta rap reference?
Possibly the most obscure shirt of all time. And I love it.

Should have a picture of a coffee can with gravel in it.

Pretty much, though the youtube video where that guy makes the joke of getting something in the mail and replying ‘deez nuts, ha , got’ em!!’ is the more known deez nuts reference lately, haha

I thought I saw it show back up lately...making a comeback!
In the early 90s, we would actually have other references based on it like saying “CD” (check deez!) and would say it to teachers and bosses. Some things never change.

Nice, now the kids try and get a setup for it, or look for a set up for it being said so they can say deez nuts, much like that’s what she said or your mom jokes. Also someone entered ‘ Deez Nuts’ in the presidential ballot somewhere and it actually got votes, haha

It’s my wifes car, too. So to make even more funny, I should get her to wear the shirt!

Crap. Oh well. I guess I’ll have to make one then. My I30 is rockin’ the 3.0. I’m not advanced enough for the 3.5.

It’s absolutely a great motor. 260,2xx on mine, all original. Still runs great. Yes, get your boss’s car.

I how much boost one would hold.. I also don’t know if there’s a difference between it and the 30 used in 300Z’s, other then being mounted sideways because FWD. I have enough projects anyway, haha.

I think the 300Z had the VG family of engine if I’m not mistaken. It’s the same engine that was in my 1997 Infiniti J30, which was RWD. Great engine as well.

Hey, if you can luck into a J30, get one. Sure, you can’t get them with a manny tranny, but I’m fairly sure you could get one, as well as all the other necessary parts from a 300ZX. Plus J30s are relatively cheap, but I’ve noticed an uptick in price. They haven’t depreciated really much at all since I had mine in 2010. I paid $3,000 for one with 162k miles, and ones with more miles are generally that price. Occasionally, you’ll see some for sale for $2k or less, but they have over 200k miles for the most part.
However, Nissan can really build good engines. I’d say get a J30 and use it as a manual swap project. Heck, in other markets, you could get them with a V8. A small, RWD V8 sedan, how cool would that be?

Back in the early 90’s (my college days) the kids would go around asking people if they wanted any free cd’s and when they inevitably said “yes” the response was “see Deez Nuts!”
